Hi! I’m Dana Theilacker. Nice to meet you!
Growing up in Alpine, Alabama, my mama instilled in me a love of all things creative. This passion has only grown over the years. (My overstocked craft room is evidence of that!) It led me to a obtain a B.A. in Art with a concentration in graphic design from the University of Alabama in 2002. Graphic design marries my creative ability and eye for detail. I have over 25 years of experience using Adobe design software. Most of my designs are completed using a combination of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
As a wife and mom, most of my work experience has been as a freelance graphic designer, because it provides me the flexibility to work wherever and whenever my schedule allows. This experience has given me the unique opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients on an equally large array of projects.
Who am I as an individual, though?
First and foremost, I am a follower of Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the World! Beyond that, I am the wife of Chris, my best friend and the best husband a girl could ask for; mom of two amazing girls; member of FBC Sylacauga; and year-round volunteer with Operation Christmas Child. My twin sister, Shana, who is also a graphic designer, is my other best friend! I enjoy crafts, coffee, music, theatre, nature, travel, baked goods, young coconut, and anything pumpkin spice. (Please don’t hold that against me.) I overuse exclamation points in texts and emails, sing loudly with the radio, laugh easily, have two left feet, and can name all the U.S. presidents in order from Washington to present.
